It’s light weight, way easier to handle, and the rugged aluminum shell feels solid and well made. Charging is super simple – no weird bouncing meters or confussing blinking lights. Just plug in, and it cycles thru the baterries while the quiet top fan keeps it cool. The LED light (red, yellow, green) shows exactly where the charge is, so no guessing. My ’93 EZGO golf cart (36 volt lead acid) gets full charge in just about an hour, way faster than the old unit. Been using it for a month now and it runs smooth every time. This is a solid, well made 36V 18A golf cart charger with sturdy metal housing, just like the better quality chargers out there. It feels strong enough for outdoor use, even when it rains, and inspite of having a cooling fan it still looks water proof. Its light weight and easy to carry around, but you can also mount it for daily use if needed. The cables are long enuf so plugging in is simple, and it charges really fast. The trickle flow mode and built-in safety protection are awesome, making sure the battrey never overcharges even if you forget it pluged in overnight. Parts World USA really got this one right, highly recomended for Club Car or EZGO carts.
