I am very pleased with this dual purpose Lithium battery charger ... with adaptive charge profiles for both Lithium Ion and Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. I only wish it had a flooded lead acid or absorbed glass mat capability, but then you couldn't get this great price, could you? Most folks already have a standard battery charger anyway.Made in the USA with an owner's manual you can actually understand (which I've scanned for you), this charger is waterproof and well-designed. The internal circuity is potted and mounted to the underside of the top deeply-finned heat sink with custom designed fins for guiding cooling air along a curved path through each fin ... for greater surface area. The fan does not draw air into the interior of the charger ... it draws and spreads air outward through the fins to gather any heat on the inside of the heat sink. Internals do not become dust-bound.The A/C in and charging cord out are clearly mounted through watertight glands held in place with four screws each. The base is removable for service with screws and a gasket ... this is not a throwaway item. It can be serviced if anything goes wrong. Decals on the sides and bottom give specs and a description for each pattern of LED illumination at the indicator on the end near the charging cord. The photos refer. The A/C cord is generous in length and the insulation is thick and sturdy ... none of that overly soft, flexible stuff other chargers have ... and it's a nice, thick cord too.The output charging cord is likewise sturdy, but I wish it had perhaps another foot of length in it. I was unable to position the charger in my ham radio rack's charger shelf and still reach the battery. I shall have to fabricate a longer set of battery leads for the battery and install an Anderson connector on them. Still, it'll be worth it. I tested it out on a 100 ampere/hour LiFePO4 battery and in less than five minutes, the charger had topped it up. I had forgotten to switch off the USB bus connected to that battery. The indicator LED followed the prescribed stages faithfully.When you hold the unit in your hand, you feel the heft of a quality piece of equipment ... sealed, generously powder coated, and finished in a high visibility, gloss orange color. The top fan purrs silently behind a delicate cage powder coated in black. It's frankly gorgeous and now my go-to lithium charger. I still need to test it out on a 10.4 ampere/hour lithium ion battery that I have to see if I get any heat out of that. The charger didn't even break a sweat on the 100 A/h LiFePO4 battery.There are no mounting bosses on the charger, but it has a lip at the base that one may capture with flat-headed Allen head screws, two to a corner, if desired ... or perhaps a couple of aluminum strips gripping the lip. So the only negatives I note are the short charge cord and the lack of mounting bosses ... not nearly enough to drop a star for.Five star review for a superb lithium battery charger and a sterling Amazon value!
