    I ordered this ammeter to go on my Massey Ferguson MF-35 tractor. I didn't realize that the face of the gauge was not marked with values for the maximum marks. Maybe the original was made that way, my old gauge is too faded to read. Since this gauge fits into the original gauge's hole in the instrument panel, installation is a snap. If the gauge deflects the wrong way when it is actually charging, you can reverse the two wires that connect to the gauge. The fact that this gauge comes with a built in lamp for illumination is a plus in my book. It is nice to have a working gauge on the tractor, now I know that the battery is being charged.

This was exactly what we needed if it hadn’t shorted out

Mounting posts were loose. We tightened them before installing. When tractor was turned on it shorted out. Lots of white smoke.
