Seems to work well. I did have to swap the pulley because the new one was too small. It was well packaged and shipped quickly.

Yamaha g1, Not perfect.

This was my second one. The first arrived broken, the rear mounting bolt hole was broken, I should've taken a picture. The starter generator is heavy and only thin foam sheets line the entire box, the bottom of the box where all the weight is i think should be double lined. I filed a return and sent it out within an hour of delivery. I had to order another, no exchange available😔. Received the second one and realised the belt pully is a much different diameter the the original. I'm not sure if it would have made a difference or not. I removed the original and put it on the new one. While installing it I definitely felt like it was the right move as i don't think the belt would've gotten tight enough with the new one being smaller.
I haven't had a chance to see if/how it works yet because I did find out after installing it, it wasn't the true/only issue but my old one was bad. Now to order more parts😭.
