When the starter/generator went out on my 1983 EZ-GO utility cart.
Being SO OLD I didn't think that I'd be able to find a new one!!
But I looked for it on Amazon anyway and TO MY SURPRISE, except for the pulley dia they had the IDENTICAL one!! and it was delivered to my door, in just a couple days!!
Since then I have learned to NEVER UNDERESTIMATE WHAT Amazon EITHER HAS IN STOCK OR CAN GET FOR YOU IN JUST A VERY FEW DAYS!!!

dont wire it the way it came out

i am still trying to figure it out, if your only replacing the starter generator you should be ok. if you replaced the 2 solenoids (forward and reverse) with the White Roger replacements (who changed their wiring too) and now they don't match up to the new wiring on the starter. if someone has figured out the way around this, please post it
