LithiumLogic™ 12V (Max 14.6V) 50A battery charger with SB50 plug

It worked great right out of the box. The packaging was solid and the manual was easy to read and follow. I checked it with a multimeter and saw it hit about 41.7 amps at peak, with peak voltage around 13.85V. Not sure if that’s normal because of the battery’s charge control, but either way I’m really happy with it. It charged my Eco Worthy 280Ah 12.8V battery from about 40% to 100% in just under 4 hrs. The fan also wasn’t nearly as loud as some people made it sound. If you’re new to LiFePO4 batteries and want a good charger, grab this one.

I used this charger to top up the LiFePO4 batteries in my trailer and it did the job really well. My shunt showed it was pulling right around 30 amps, and I confirmed it was putting out the correct 14.6V, so it’s definitely delivering what it claims. The unit feels solid and well built, not flimsy at all. The only thing I’m a little unsure about is the small fan on the top- those little fans can be the first thing to fail over time, so part of me wishes it relied on a larger heatsink instead. That said, maybe the fan is needed because of the higher 30A output. Either way, I’m satisfied with it so far and glad I ordered it.

The charger was showing about 38.8A and when I tested it separately, that number checked out. The cables and connectors feel fine quality-wise. It’s still too early for me to judge long-term reliability, so fingers crossed there. Price-wise it was the cheapest option I found compared to similar chargers. If I had one suggestion for the manufacturer, it would be the LCD screen: once charging finishes it only displays voltage, and it would be really helpful if it also showed the total Ah added during the charge session.

Works awesome. I charged all my LiFePO4 batteries one at a time first to get them topped off and balanced, then hooked all three up in parallel on a busbar and charged them together. They came up evenly as a set and stayed at the same voltage, which is exactly what I was hoping for. Just a heads up—don’t try this if your batteries are wired in series since this is a 12V (14.6V) charger. If you’ve got a series bank, you’ll need to separate them and charge each battery individually.
